Operation Smile
We finally got to do a run for Operation Smile!! I loved it so much. It makes you so proud to know that some little kid out there will get a life changing surgery because of you. We know just how much it means to have these surgeries done. It really does change lives.
Tim had to work, so it was just the kids and me for the long trek. It was a cold morning, and windy. Carter decided that he was going to win, so he was all up for running. He kept me moving just trying to keep up with him. He ran for a good 2 miles and then decided to jump on the stroller for a while. The last 1/4 of a mile or so, I got to run with just Carter, and cheer him on as he crossed the finish line. He was so proud and is still determined that he won! Kinley on the other hand was not as much of a fan. She ended up crying about mile 2 and kept in going till the end. I think she was cold and tired.
I hope was can make this an annual thing to get out there and support Operation Smile. What a great cause!
